Summer! For now, at least. I’ll be working 40 hours a week but I think I’ll still have time for nail art. Wee! I moved back home yesterday, but I only started unpacking today. Keyword: started. I think I will try and reorganize my polish while I am at it. Take some comparison photos of my stash for now versus last summer. See, Ive been all about nailpolish since I was like, 5. I get it from my mother. She’s always got her nails painted for as long as I can remember, and I picked up the habit from a pretty young age. But she didnt let me get out of control with my collection until I was old enough to pay for it myself. I mean, I had about 10 polishes until I was about 14-15, then I started to buy a few more every once in a  while. Slowly branching! Then last year, when I was 18/19 (am 20 now) I just..went crazy I guess. In the beginning of summer, I thought my stash was ginormous—50 or so polishes. Then it somehow grew to more than 150 by the end of summer. Yikes. I have NO IDEA how many polishes I have now, but I will say that I buy nail polish significantly less often during the school year.. but I’m determined to not blow my paychecks this summer on polish (pft, i’ll blow it on more tattoos and food instead, probably…). But my current estimate for polish count is somewhere between 190 and 210. We’ll see tomorrow! I will have a ridic bottle spam posting spree when I go ahead and post my collection..

FINALLY! I have freaking finally acquired Revlons Whimsical. Hey man, I don’t have $20 to shell out for a DL polish. (And if you ask me, revlons formula is better for whimsical than GITA’s is…) Ever since its release, I have always checked the revlon section of every supermarket or drugstore I go into. I never see it. It’s not like theyre always out of stock—they dont even carry it to begin with. This always happens with Wet n Wild as well! They only carry their stupid wildshine crap polishes and the permanent line of fastdry ones (which are boring) — they always have good fastdry collections. I just never get them. It’s not like I live in some desolate area. I mean, goodness, I live in a bustling part of NJ. But, finally, today I found it in Wegmans. I was actually looking for new essies—I’d given up on my hunt for Whimsical. I’d even convinced myself it wasnt that great anyway. It caught the corner of my eye and I might have squealed a little. Good thing my boyfriend is awesome.

Verdict: YAY and it is even more gorgeous in person! Theres this beautiful green microsparkle that I havent  noticed in any photos. I hope it shows up on the nail! Wah!!

Welp. That’s probably the most excited Ive gotten about a bottle of polish in a long time. I dont care. I am almost done with finals and getting a little jittery. I’m ready to move out and go back to work and get money and get more tattoos and paint my nails all the time (and post!!)
