aww I wish we could have girly sleepovers and paint our nails and talk about hot men and eat chinese food but in the same place and not a zillion miles away, i miss thee <3
I am almost positive it is up for sale in stores now, because I have been seeing a few swatches pop up, but none of them mention where they bought it (and I know at least a few bought it, because they mentioned buying it, and not having PR send it for review).
WHERE CAN I GET IT? I NEEEEEEED those pretties in my life.. I am hoping Rite Aid has it, but it’s a bus ride and many blocks to get there, and I am lazy. But I can make that hike if other Rite Aids have them!
I was browsing Sephora today when I came across an SOPI polish, “Be-clause I Said So” (not to be confused with their other polish, also red, ‘because i said so’). Anyway, I have yet to run across a perfect cherry red dense glitter (with chunky hex pieces!) like this, and it’s just like the red glitter combo used in DL RRS…the tiny circular glitter and the large hex glitter. So I picked it up, along with Flurry Up! (A silver version of the same glitter) and came home to try it out on top of black on my swatch wheel. It looks like a dead on dupe for DL RRS! I’ll post pics tomorrow, it’s dark right now and my room mate is asleep!
So, for those of you who have been wanting DL Ruby Red Slippers but dont want to fork over $18 for it (I refuse to pay $18 for polish.), pick up SOPI Be-clause I said so ($9.50 .. still expensive, but almost half the price of the DL one!) and some black polish if you don’t have it already. As a warning, the glitter is super dense (which is usually not the case) so you don’t want to lay it on thick if you are trying to mimmick the DL effect. The formula itself is not thick, it’s just that there is SO MUCH GLITTER (and I think most of us know that usually that never happens). So, kudos S.OPI for making my glittery dreams come true!
woo! I swear, I’ll get around to having a giveaway eventually. But I have an exam tomorrow, monday, tuesday, and next thursday…so yeah, that ain’t happening right now!
