hahah definitely! I am going to try one of the designs where it doesn’t matter which way its pointed or if it’s lined up with anything. I still want to master these pretty tips but.. that would require me to keep doing them. I guess I’ll cross that bridge when I have mastered the other patterns :)
i figured i’d go with a sexy red with black lace tips for my first time stamping. i shoulda done something easier.. i am having a doozy trying to line up my tips with the curve of the stamp! it came out shitty but after i put a topcoat on, it didnt look as bad..still gonna redo it tomorrow though.. i cannot stand a messy mani
ill take some pics tomorrow before i take em off for round 2!
wee! awesome! my stamping plates arrived today, so get ready for some sweet stamping experimentation :D
everytime i am wildly anticipating an episode or movie, it does that stupid shit where the video lags and all that, so its unwatchable. reporting a problem only helps if you feell like waiting another day to watch it!
ATTEMPTING to get through Angel Beats (which is fuckin great btw. if you like Clannad, youll enjoy Angel beats) but nooooooooo, netflix is fuckin up on me :(
Just be following me, I’ll check all the blogs that reblog and pick the 5 blogs randomly. Make sure it reaches 25.
Ive put this off for a while because I could not decide between the MASH 25 plate set and the Bundle Monster 25 pc set. If I had the money, Id get the Konads, but I don’t. I ended up ordering the MASH plates.. they are cheaper and I think I prefer the designs :) yay! I cannot wait. I am already fantasizing about all the awesome manis I can create!
I also found Essie A Cut Above (from the Luxeffects collection) in Walgreens and picked up a bottle, so DOUBLE YAY. I also am planning to do some bitchin nail art on Sunday so keep tuned.
my local Sally Beauty is completely out of Color Club exclusive glitters. BOO! i am kicking myself for not getting Sugar Plum Yum when I got Very merry berry. sigh..
Bad news always comes first! Thankfully, it is only a minor disappointment.. I went to the mall today, to have some retail therapy. Id had the intention of picking up some of the new Nails Inc flakie duo sets. I had my heart set on the Old Vic set (the one with the blue flakies) .. alas, they had none! They only had the magnetic polish… which I personally find hideous. On top of that, It took me forever to find a lipstain that flattered my skin. Tried it out on my lips when I got home and I was very dissatisfied. It pretty much didnt “absorb” but kind of clumped in a weird way around the lines in my lips. I cleaned off my lips before hand so I know it wasnt like residue from my balm was getting in the way. I plan on sticking with revlon for that I guess (I love their Just Bitten stain markers. they are great, except I am having a hard time finding a certain color in my local drugstores.. sigh). For those wondering, the lipstain that did not work out for me was Sephora’s Lip Flush in Merlot. It looked real nice when I swatched it in the store on my wrist but .. did not work out so well on the lips. Further, I found out my beloved Zara store in my local mall has been replaced by something else D: SAD. I love Zara Basic.
GOOD NEWS.. I spent way too much money today, and picked up OPI Meep Meep Meep (from the Muppets) as well as Essie Shine of the Times (Luxeffects), as well as OPI Silver Shatter. All of those for $20 at a small beauty store. Yay! I also got a beautiful scarf, some gorgeous rings, more thigh highs (GREY LEOPARD!) and other little goodies from places like Forever 21. Anyways, I’ll take some pics of my most recent haulage soon. I just took a calc 2 exam and have my physics exam on tuesday, and I am playing Big Pink Volleyball tomorrow, so things are a little busy.
I havent posted any of my own nail art/swatches for probably about a week.. last thursday I spilled milk all over my laptop and managed to short out the keyboard. (thankfully the motherboard is fine! phew) .. you’d think a laptop that costs $1000+ would have a freakin DRAIN .. seriously I had a $150 CRAPTOP that had a keyboard drain for spills. Sigh. Lenovo just wants all my money—-but they cannot have it! I called to ask about having it fixed, they told me it would be at least $200.. I hung up and proceeded to take apart my laptop, find there was still wet milk inside the keyboard (it had been at least 20 hours since the spill) and got it all out. The keyboard was still malfunctioning when I put it back together.. but then I h bought a replacement keyboard for my laptop. $40 beats $200+ any day. I just have to wait for it to get here and put it back together with the new one. So, for now I am just borrowing my room mates old laptop. My keyboard is being expedited so once its here and put back together.. many posts to come!
